I love how Romania gets ready for New Year’s Eve

Everyone is now ready for travels and lots of cake

As a professional traveller it can be hard to keep track of all that you see. Sometimes you miss something and then you regret it for ages. This is why I try to be very connected to the places I see. Romania was the highlight of 2015 when it comes to my travels. I simply adore this small European country. It can become a favourite destination for thousands of tourists, coming from all over the world. Traveling from one city to another is a real delight.

Every moment that I spent in this beautiful country represented a chance to meet welcoming and generous people. They showed me how hospitality looks like. It was a truly revelatory experience.

Something new but old…

I loved the country but I really hate the poor infrastructure that sinks into your travel plans and sometimes ruins them. Hopefully something will change in the following years. Romania deserves better roads and newer ways to show off points of interest. I saw that today everyone is talking about New Year’s Eve parties and familiar gatherings. Now this is completely normal. If you are among them, what can I say: have fun and may the new year – 2016 – be more generous!
